Thanks guys - is a major pain but I have written a list if what needs doing, shopping list, agenda of activities times for the party (including when food will come out) and have bought decorations. Not made easier by the fact baby brain has well and truly kicked in - left a tub of ice cream in the car while I leisurely shopped for party games/gifts/decorations and then went and filled up with petrol when I only had my phone and keys but no money!!! So embarrassing!!

Lots - most people I know loved the manduca or the ergo. We have a Bjorn and DS didn't love it and never seemed as comfortable as the babies in the others. A few girls in my mums group had the fabric wrap type things and it took ages to figure out how to do it on your own. I remember when our bubs were about 8 weeks old needing three of them to do it - one being the wearer, one holding the baby and one doing the wrapping. Then they swapped and did the next girl and bub. It was hilarious! Personally I would avoid that style. I am hoping to borrow a manduca and if that falls through I will buy an ergo second hand.

    Hi Ladies and Happy Friday!!!

I think that's a great idea to have a goal for everyday once we have bubs. I haven't thought about it but it will definitely help the days not fly by and feel like you haven't achieved anything.

That's so funny you are talking about baby carriers. I was only sitting on the train this morning thinking about asking you ladies if anybody had recommendations. The only one I knew about previously was the baby bjorn but they are pricey. I'll definitely look into the ergo and the manduca now.. thanks

Congrats on the new car Veritas!

Bedlover all the best with the party. I had mum's birthday Wednesday night at my place. It was only 11 of us but I couldnt stand up by the end of it.. It's really tough entertaining at the moment.

I missed the Coles sale on nappies last week but just discovered that Woolworths have a sale this week! Huggies Newborn nappies 108 pack $28 and Huggies Wipes 240 pack $9.79.. I'll be dropping by there on the way home, so I dont miss out this time!

AFM - 30 weeks today! Yay... I had my scan this morning and bubs is doing perfectly. I'm stressing for nothing! 75 percentile in growth, so a little on the big size. He/She already weighs 1.6kgs. It's such a relief, i'm so happy.

So so tired and sore again! Are we there yet!!!

I got a second hand kia sorento! Much more spacious than my previous hatch... Now just to sell it!

With carries, options like the ergo, Manduca, slings and wraps are definitely the go. I wouldn't go a baby bjorn or other carrier of that style as they really aren't good for either your back or bubs.

Hope everyone is having a happy Friday!

Cool, thanks for the tips on baby carriers! Now just have to go and try them out...somehow with a big belly. :/

    Yes happy Friday!!!

Just been looking at the paid parental leave info online. Got a mygov password so I can start it online. Went online to check my pay and get my work's abn. All seems a bit too much today. Have got a starting point for when DH is back. He drove to Wagga for work for a couple of days. Running out of days together. Bring on less work trips and maternity leave I say!!

On baby carriers ladies - just got an email through from Mumgo, they're having a sale on Baby Bjorn's - $89 plus postage if you're interested.

Lotsa I've gone with an Ergo, I had the choice of that OT baby bjorn. I scored one that my friend only used twice plus an insert for $70. She had twins and it was much easier for her to just use the pram for the two of them.

Verities - happy driving your new car! It's always exciting buying new car.

Tigger- you are in the 30s week slot now and bubs is doing great!

You ladies are amazing still up on your feet and working. It must be so tiring and uncomfortable sitting at your desk through the day. I find that the back of my thighs ESP where the chairs edge is aching so bad. I get DD to massage it with her knee with pressure the back of my thighs. Any one suffering from restless legs? I can't stand it! Hope you will be able to put your feet up soon and start enjoying your leave soon ladies.
