    I wonder of the researchers will put resources into discovering the @rsehole gene. That might also have implications for parents who don't want to raise children who turn out to be bigots.

    I wouldn't care in the slightest if my DD was a lesbian or if my DS was gay...i love my kids and i want them to be happy. I do not understand why being gay/lesbian is such a big deal :/

    It's not just about the gene though.


    They've done studies with identical twins with identical DNA and brought up in the same household and one is straight and one is gay. If they both have identical DNA wouldn't they both be gay then?


    Same with allergies, obesity etc, it's to do with certain parts of the gene switching on and off.
