    Default Cheap tablets

I'm thinking of buying DD a tablet for her birthday. She's only 3 so I don't want to spend big money.
I see target have them on special for $64.
I'm just after feedback on them?
I love my iphone and iPad and she loves playing them but don't want to spend over $300 for a iPad mini for her 3rd birthday

My kids have the target ones. So far I would rate them 4 or a 5 out of ten.
I brought 3. I has stopped working altogether and needs to sent away for repairs because it is just out of the 30 day period. Another gas a weird bubble like scratch that seems really weird.
The battery life isn't anywhere near what our galaxies are and graphics are fantastic but for a child they are ok.
In saying that the kids love them.

We have 2 of the target ones. I hate them. Absolutely regret buying them. 1 broke from being dropped on carpet. One just stopped charging at all. They're slow and annoying. Wish I spent the money on galaxy tabs.

We got one for xmas for ds. It was crap. The on off button broke the first few days and after a week or so it wouldn't turn on. We bought one from Harvey norman for $77. It's a laser etablet. Much faster and better graphics.

We got a kmart one, its a but show but has been dropped, slipped etc and still going. I do notice the difference in sound and graphics vs a galaxy tab, but ds doesn't care.

Proudly brought to you by me and my autocorrect fail device.

Honestly, they're so crap. You're better off spending a bit more money and going for an iPad or maybe the samsung tablet. Maybe go check out JB HiFi, they have a great range of tablets and there'd be some cheaper options than the iPad, but that are still good.

Dd1 saved and bought herself a cheap one from KMart. She is now on her 3rd one. It has been replaced by KMart twice now. I agree. Its nothing on our galaxy tab.

DD got a kids galaxy tab for Christmas. She's only 1. My IL's bought it for her. Only a couple of apps are alright for her right now. You can have it set like a normal tablet or have it in kids mode. It was $300ish I think.

ETA: I know it's not "cheap" but it'll go the distance longer than a cheap tablet.

I wouldn't go cheap. An iPad is a reasonable investment. They tend to last longer. We have gone through a few cheaper ones, a kindle and arrived at iPads because the others broke or stuffed up or weren't as user friendly. I've heard good about the samsung one too but never tried it.
