Default Formula advice??!! Bellamys or Nan Comfort?

    Hi
I have been recommended two formula's to try on my 3 week old DS.
He has been on Karicare since birth (plus and Gold HA) and I have a gut feeling Karicare doesn't agree with his belly.
He has reflux (and has been put on losec) but he also suffers terrible wind and explosive poo (by that I mean it takes him ages to get it out but when it does come out it sounds explosive and is rather soft and spreads out! It is not runny/watery though). This causes him pain. He is often restless between bottles and you can see he is in discomfort. He also does the occasional projectile vomit but Dr said he is very healthy and putting on heaps of weight so he isn't too concerned. It is just about getting the formula right now.
I have been told to try Bellamys or Nan Comfort, has anyone had good experiences with those??
    Thanks

I can't speak highly enough of Bellamys. My DD was a horrible baby - terrible colic, constipation etc and we tried a couple of different formulas before trying Bellamys and within a few days she was a completely different child

My son started on the karicare HA in hospital and he was experiencing the same problems your baby is. We thought he was lactose intolerant so we put him on s26 lactose free which made it worse. Now he is on bellamy's organic and he is a completely different baby and it took about 3 days to clear up highly recommend bellamy's organic

We have switched from Karicare gold to Nan comfort and have noticed a significant difference within a day.

Do let us know how you get on op with the change in formula. I was looking at those ones which were recommended in a thread to me the other day yesterday at the shops. Our first was windy/puky and another got constipated and had to switch from the gold formula.
