Congrats Hoots, hope your recovery is well. Did you have to have a c section to take the placenta out?

Congrats Hoots Hope you are recovering okay. Did you feel okay after the transfusions? I was amazed at how good I felt after I had mine

Rachael... I have signed up for mother's group through our health centre but it doesn't start for another couple of weeks. They meet for 5 weeks and then it's up to the mums to choose if they want to continue. I also went to a newborn sleeping and feeding session last week and there were 5 other mums with bubs, it was useful to hear everyone's experiences

I had a spinal tap to remove placenta and I feel amazing after the transfusion but they still won't let me go home! Lol

Thankyou everyone!!!! I'm absolutely smitten. Had a big ol cry this morning cos it finally dawned on me that I'm a mum!!! I'm hoping I'll get better at breast feeding because at the moment it's more misses than hits lol

You will Hoots. Just don't put too much pressure on yourself and know that pretty much every mother struggles to breast feed at first. Just keep working at it xxxx
