So, yes, I caved and tested! Nothing yet!

Now I have to wait until tomorrow to test again aaarrgh! My partner was laughing at me this morning. I bet if it was men that could get preggers they would have a whole chemistry set of tests and potions and charts!
Hang in there @Bongley, it's early days yet, how many dpo are you? Everything crossed for you.

Far out, he has me on a high dose then. Last time I got 12 eggs but only 8 were mature. I trust him implicitly though, he is a great FS.

    Morning everyone else xx

    Hi everyone,

I hope you don't mind me joining this thread. i am starting ivf/icsi next week, and have been put on puregon 375. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of dosage? Ie Side effects & how many eggs did you get - I'm freaking out as it seems to be quite high from what I've been reading? ( I am 40 and slim build).

This is the first time I have done any fertility treatment at all so every little thing about it is causing me to stress!!

Any advice would be very much appreciated!
    thanks!

hi @Grace1 welcome, sorry I can't really help you about your dosage, only to say that the doctors will keep a close eye on your hormone levels through blood tests and your follicles with some ultrasound scans. I've never had much in the way of side effects, just some acne and maybe some night sweats. Hope someone else might give you some more info.

Gosh, I am starting to get worried about Bertie........

Hi Grace, welcome! I'm on 450 puregon, but have only just started. Hopefully the side effects aren't too bad. Apart from bloating, I didn't have any real side effects last time, but I was only on 225 puregon then. Good luck.

Grace and Twigley, welcome to the thread!

I was only on 200 puregon after starting on elonva 150 this cycle... And i do get side effects of feeling generally crap even at that dose when im adequately stimulated...but my AMH is highish so I stimulate pretty well. The first cycle is often a bit of trial and error anyway. Good luck x
