Big sigh of relief in this house tonight after our 7 week scan - peanut is looking good and measuring 6w6d (I'm 7w1d) with a heart rate of 144bpms which is great, no sign of the bleed which is also a relief. Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts over the last few days. I have a follow up scan at the OB next Thurs.
    Vix, congratulations again! Great numbers!

Emski.... that's fabulous news. I'm so hopeful that this is the one for you xx

Springrain.... yes, my sister started her Gonalf-F injections two nights ago. Kind of weird me not doing any injections - I keep having to remind myself what we're doing. The only thing I'm doing (except all the normal vitamins, aspirin, prednisolone etc), is some little tablet once a day (something to do with stopping my ovulation and getting my lining into shape). I go for a blood test and lining scan next Monday, and EPU is likely to be about next Wed (depending how she goes). We will definitely do a 5dt, so that will be the following week for me.

Following everyone else, so hello, but trying to keep really relaxed about this cycle, so not been posting on here much, but still thinking about you all still the same :-)

    Default Hormonal casserole

Hi ladies - I'm new to these forums and found this thread last night, and laid awake reading up on your respective journeys to date. What an inspiring group of women you are, so supportive amidst your own daily challenges with IVF etc!

Last week our last 4 embryos were defrosted with only 2 suitable for transfer and only rating a very vague ‘fair’ from our scientist who also said at 5 days they were a little slow and appeared more like 4 days old. He must’ve thought we were a little bit ‘deer in the headlights’ to provide any more detail – so I know nothing of their actual ratings, but needless to say he said it wasn’t a great outcome but that transfer would go ahead anyway.

So here I am, enduring the hormonal casserole that is the 2ww, 7dpfet . I admit I’ve POAS more than once knowing (& hoping) it’s too early to get any confirmation or reassurance this way. Being as experienced at this as you all are, when do you think I should be seeing something on a HPT? My FS doesn’t want to see me for Beta until 14dpfet??

Love & strength to all of you.

Hi @Sedgaroo Hormonal casserole, ha, I like it. I seem to pick up really faint squinter BFPs around 7dp5dt , depends on the strength of your tests too. I've read second wee of the day is actually better than the first, which has been the case for me. Sounds like you might see something in the next few days hopefully.

    Good luck!
