Naw the other was immature.., I was a little disappointed bout the one on board only being 2 cell and the scientist didnt seem impressed but my sis got the impression it was all just their clinical, businesslike, non committal, dont really know, manner. Have since done some googling and it seems like as far as the ifs/buts/maybes of ivf it doesnt mean anything and there are plenty of ivf kiddies around from 2 cell 2dt to prove it....its one of those things..., if its the golden egg its the golden egg I think

One thing im wondering if anyone has asked or researched....since I have a stump of a tube on the right...a fibroid at the back...can you influence the place of implantation? Like sleep on my left. I did find one study ...only one that suggested maybe certain sleeping positions can. I did ask them at ET if they could not stick it up the top but they said cant control it? Though I heard the analogy the emby is like a grain of dust in a jam sandwich...moves with the slow flow or cant move much at all? Until then I imagined it more like a game of pong then all the sudden it had webs like spiderman

Mrsmac I wAtched a you tube clip once which showed how the emby moves around the uterus over a certain amount of time. It was interesting because it shows you that it's not stagnant. I don't know if you can determine where it's final resting place is by positioning yourself different ways. You do hear, however, that some fertility specialist are better at transfers than others and that can have an impact on implantation by where they place the emby.

MrsMac, glad to hear transfer went well, hope you are feeling better. It takes me a good 5-7 days after EPU to feel better. Hope the spotting and pain have eased.

Em, glad to hear you have a nicely rising beta. Hope you have a good rise at your next one too

Luca, cheering you and your little bean on

Sitting in Abu Dhabi airport waiting for my connecting flight to Athens ... Lkilling time by catching up on bubhub mrsmac - I read that the fs can influence it if they inject in too hard - but to be honest I think it's in the lap of the gods. I always wondered if that's what happened to me given mine ended at the very end of the tube ... Got my fingers crossed this is your lucky time

Interesting about embryo transfers. On my FET the embryo got stuck in the catheter twice. It was very unnerving - it was the one that I got my BFP from (which ended early anyway). It seemed quite traumatic for the little embryo to be stuck twice.

    Emski - great beta results.

Vixjc - how exciting you are nearly there.

Mrsmac - congrats on being PUPO. If an embryo is going to stick it is going to stick. No matter if it is 5 day, 3 day or 2 day. Good luck!

    hi to everyone.

Well I have had the worst AF type cramps today. feels like AF is here keep running to the bathroom - just a really heavy weird feeling. Only 10 dpo.

    Hello,

I haven't been following this thread as I'm under 40 but I was looking in to clinical trials for IVF and came across the one at the link below and thought someone might be interested, trials are in Sydney. Apologies if it has already been posted.

If you are aged between 40 and 44 and are thinking of undergoing IVF treatment, then you may be interested in participating in a clinical trial using recombinant Human Growth Hormone (rHGH) in conjunction with the usual IVF treatment. The trial will be commencing in 2014.

Blueberry it's great they are looking for over 40s. They so often don't. I'd definitely be interested if I was still cycling.
