((hugs)) to everyone that has a not so good result and ((hugs)) to everyone else that needs one.

We have had saizen in the past and the quality has improved. Nurse at the clinic on Monday mentioned that they have changed saizen so you get two doses from one vial, so the cost isnt to bad now.

AFM .DP is still a walking talking pill bottle since seeing a naturopath
we alsowent to see FS on Monday and she was quite happy for us to start when we were fine to. Then asked when was last AF, well it turns out that Monday was only D17 in the cycle of DP so we had the normal bloods str8 away and the one to check ovulation. Then went home with our bottle of lucrin and needles. All happening quicker than we thought, didnt even take notice when she was cycle day wise.

PC tuesday she hasnt ovulated so she had another BT this morning. Now just waiting. If all goes well, collection could be around the week starting 14 April.

    The Fun continues

I did write back and had all the details in there to remind her who I was but she maintained her view ... I'm going to do what works for my head AND my uterus!!! Because I ahd so much trouble last time I already have two scans booked in to track how I'm going before flying out so I'll be ab;e to ramp up my dose pretty fast if its not on track with what I need.

I'm told I'll start the progy between 20 and 28 Mar ... so that's today onward - I'm kinda hoping more towards 28, because otherwise if she starts stims on say 21 Mar, then stims for 10 days, then has 5 days for the blasties to grow - I won't be in Greece yet! Unless she's a slow stimmer (like me!) ... ah the intricacies!

Vixjc - I'm liaising between two specialists too - one here and the clinic in SA, I say go with what you know! My boobs are killing me today on 2 progynova at once (4 per day) God knows how you would walk without every little jiggle killing with 16 a day!

Getting excited/anxious now - so much to do before we leave tomorrow (like pack ) but all will be fine. As I said to MrsErin R the wheels are definitely in motion now and all I can do is go along for the ride!

    Em x
My FS here thought 6 a day should do it if I'm taking that from the start ... so I'll do that and see how it goes, if it isn't enough I'll just double it. I don't get the sore boobs till I'm on progesterone - then they get sore and HUGE. And I'm already a DD - it's lucky I'm still able to maintain a centre of gravity and walk upright once the girls 'upsize'!

Sooo excited for you! Hope it all goes really smoothly, keep us updated!

And its inconclusive 12.7!! So it means nothing the nurse says. Come back on Friday for BT. Pretend today didn't exist
OMG. I am Sooo freaking out
    Has anyone had this?
im hoping it's not a chemical pregnancy
Hi Precious, sorry the figure wasn't more conclusive and hope Fri brings a doubling of numbers for you. Having been in your position with two of our IUI attempts I know how nerve wracking it is. For every chemical there is someone else who goes on to huge numbers at the next test, so all is not lost. Take care xxx

Arghhh not a great day for me today. Had some more light spotting and of course it was a day I was at work presenting to a room full of people. My boss knew something was up with me and of course as soon as she asked me if I was ok I started ctrying and had to fess up about the whole pregnancy thing. She was fantastic about it but its not something you really want to happen in the work place. At least I can stop thinking of inventive excuses for the times im at doc appointments.

Anyhow tensely waiting for 9wk scan tomorrow morn to see if everything is still ok in there. Never a dull moment!

Bertie – so sorry to hear your news – big hug

Sunny – heavens what a ride you’ve had! So close to that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! Hope your last weeks of pregnancy are smooth sailing and relaxing

Precious – got my fingers crossed that tomorrow is your lucky day x
Chris9 - lots of girls get spotting and everything is still ok - I know how stressful it is, but I have everything crossed that your little bean is just getting a head start on keeping you on your toes

Hi girls, just had my 2nd scan, we have 6 good sized follicles .. And epu Monday, will go for day 3 transfer this time due to low numbers (if there's anything to tf). I had signed up for a triple embryo transfer this time in my blind optimism (we got 4 blasts last time - my best result, and I was snowboarding all day every day at the time, lol). I don't think I'll have 3 by day 3 but hey in this game I guess u never can tell. I don't think transfer of x3 day 3 enbies at age 40 is a big deal, anyway. We are using frozen sperm this time as DH is on a swing away for work. Looks like its just me and dr google again, lol. Epu is Monday....
