Oh Sunny, thank you got your post. I remember you. At 36 weeks you are now at the pointy end of the deal and I just know bub will do well on the outside regardless of when he comes You have been through a rough journey but you are so close now & I'm so very pleased for you. I'm not sure if you want to say in the forum where you are having bub, who your ob is & if you have a paed? I had my bub at Mater Pte at 31 weeks & I was so so happy with them. I was actually going to change hospitals because of some of the stories I'd heard about the midwives (mainly around breast feeding) but in the end I didn't & they were amazing. I wish you all the very best & can't wait to hear the fairy tale ending

Sunny.... 36 weeks!! Big congratulations. That seems to have gone so fast now. So slow waiting to get pregnant, but now you're almost there. Except for a few worries, it looks like you'll have a beautiful baby in your arms, not too long from now. Thanks for all your support. I can't wait to be in your position.

Precious... I have no idea what a number like 12.7 means. And to have to wait now another two days, what a nuisance! Let's hope that something great happens between now and Friday.

AFM.... Unfortunately I was a BFN today - my number was 0.6. The nurse made particular mention of it, saying it proved that something started, but not for long. I don't know if that means that it must have started implanting (as surely that's how anything gets into the blood), or whether it just grew for a few days then gave up?

Hi Sunny! You have had such a roller coaster ride. Sounds like you are in good hands and they are really monitoring you. We are pretty much at the same stage, I'm 36 weeks on Friday and booked for a c-sect on April 10. I feel pretty anxious about bub's arrival and just want him or her safely here.

Sorry to hear your news Bertie. I think any hcg in the system means implantation started to occur. The whole thing is just so unfair.

    Good luck Emski !!!

Hi Precious, I went through something similar last year. My result was 9 at 10dp5dt. I was told it was a negative and only a reading over 25 was considered a positive. So i stopped all medication and waited for AF. It came a day or 2 later but I felt something was not quite right so I did a HPT and the two lines came up straight away. I phoned the clinic and they agreed to do another blood test the following day. The result was 60 and I was considered pregnant but the nurse was not optimistic. Every two days blood was drawn and the numbers were doubling. This continued until I had a scan at 6 weeks. There was a gestational sac but nothing else. I had another scan a few days later which confirmed that the pregnancy was not viable. I opted for a D&C after being told I would most likely have a miscarriage. I am sorry this is happening.

Dee01 - Welcome, hope this cycle brings success to you. Ive done acupuncture on and off during my cycles. With this one I did acupuncture on the day of tansfer and once a week for the next couple of weeks.

MrsErinR - sorry to hear about your FET but have everything crossed for you using donor.

SpringRain - great numbers, how are they progressing?

Emski - all the best with your SA adventure, hope all goes well.

Vixjc - im all for doing things that give you peace of mind, id take the extra dose too.

Sunny - wow sounds like you have been through one hell of a journey. You're almost there now, so very exciting!

Precious40 - ive had low readings before and there really isnt much you can do but wait for the follow up bt. As long as the numbers double you could still be in the clear. I know there is no point in saying try not to worry but lots of people start with low numbers that turn into a viable pregnancy. But unfortunately it may also be a chemical pregnancy. Having been there on more than one ocassion myself i totally understand the torment you're going through. Hang in there xxx

Bertie - so sorry this cycle wasnt a success but it definately sounds like it started implanting. My old fs used to say this was always a good sign for future cycles.

Having looked after cp babies before I can assure you that they are just gorgeous. I'm sure the team will carry you through, come what may, it will all work out. Best of luck, I'm excited for you!

Emski - all the very best for you DE trip. It has come around so quickly. I hope you have an amazing time and get to have a bit of a holiday too. Cape Town looks like such a beautiful city. I would love to go there.

Sunny - Thanks for dropping by. I am glad to hear that you are nearing the end and you will soon have your beautiful baby with you. Take it easy now. It has been a long time coming for you and I wish you all the very best.

Precious – I am sorry for your inconclusive result. It must be hard with the not knowing. I hope you get an answer either way on Friday.

MGCBertie – I am also sorry for your BFN. For sure something must have started to try to implant for you. So close for you.

Springy – How are your little embies going? I hope you get some to transfer.

Dee – welcome to the thread. I hope your cycle is going OK. I do acupuncture weekly mainly for relaxation. I also cut out alcohol and coffee whilst stimming.

Vixjc – sounds like you are gearing up for your DE cycle. Vaginal viagra?? I have never heard of this?? What is it for?

MrsErin – I am sorry about your BFN. Looks like you have done all your research for DE and are ready to go. How exciting for you.

Butterfly – 6 follies is great. Sorry I am just reading up on everyone now so you are probably a lot further than this. How are you going now??

AFM – Still jabbing. First BT tomorrow.
