Em, will be thinking of you on Thurs, hoping to hear about your SA trip and your "excess baggage" on the way back Hope you are feeling better too.

MrsErinR, I'm sorry to hear about the FET. Hoping to hear more about your SA adventures too.

Precious, how are you going? Threegoes and Mrs Mac, how are you going?

Butterfly, well done on the follies, hope they are all growing nice and big.

Becinbliss, hello and welcome, hope your journey is short and sweet. I'm on 600mg Coq10, 3mg melatonin and 2g inositol morning and night.

Juama, how is your FET cycle going?

    Angelmama, congratulations on your BFP

Leyshoja, hope your cycle is going well

Chris, glad to hear your little bean is doing well.

Luca wishing you the best for your cycle

Dee, hello and welcome, hope your stay is short and productive too. I'm doing supplements, exercise including yoga/pilates and gym work, no alcohol or coffee etc, but not sure any of it makes much difference.

AFM - had EPU yesterday, a bit earlier than expected which left me scrambling to get everything I wanted to do done before I went under. Got 12 eggs, 9 mature 5 fertilised, so now just waiting. Still hoping to do CGH, but not holding my breath with those numbers.

SpringRain... 5 fertilised sounds fantastic!! They're nice numbers - surely there's a golden one in there :-)) So what's the plan? No fresh transfer at all?

    Hi everyone! Specially the newbies

Sorry to hear about your FET Ms Erin. Let's hope donor eggs does the trick

Emski - so excited for you! Hope it all goes really smoothly.

Springrain - those results are awesome! Good luck!

AFM - had my second Zolodex injection yesterday. Once again felt like I was being microchipped. Bit concerned that if I'm seen out of my yard the council will grab me by the collar and contact my owners... My clinic has told me my dose of progynova - it's really low. I don't really understand. Last time I started on 4 a day, but after nearly two weeks the lining wasn't thick enough, so they upped it to 8 a day, then a few days later 16 per day. But now my new clinic is saying 2 a day??? (And maybe some vaginal viagra if that doesn't work - but apparently their recommended one takes 20 days to arrive from Malaysia - I don't have the time for that) I don't understand how a dose that is half my original dosage can possibly get me over the line, particularly given I'm not taking anything else to thicken the lining. Weird. She said a few things in the email which made me think she might have me confused with someone else. Think I'll just take the higher dose my FS here recommends ... it does no harm and they will never know Besides, I need the peace of mind, last time they nearly cancelled my trip because of my lining being too thin, the stress had me in tears for days!

Vix I'm sure you've thought of this, but is it worth relaying all that re. your previous doses and experience with your lining thickness back to the new clinic? Polite but firm - that they have the dose correct and understand who you are? That would concern me too.

Springy - all sounding positive for you- will have my fingers crossed for you and hoping this is the one for you.
Vixjc - I'm liaising between two specialists too - one here and the clinic in SA, I say go with what you know! My boobs are killing me today on 2 progynova at once (4 per day) God knows how you would walk without every little jiggle killing with 16 a day!

Getting excited/anxious now - so much to do before we leave tomorrow (like pack ) but all will be fine. As I said to MrsErin R the wheels are definitely in motion now and all I can do is go along for the ride!

    Em x

    Hi ladies

I have had a bit of a rough time of late but Im still here at 36 weeks today.

Some of the long-term IVF Over 40 ladies will remember me (I hope) and welcome to all the new ladies.

My Ob has put me in hospital for bed rest. Bub is still transverse and has been that way for the majority of my pregnancy. So as bub is transverse, my Ob is a little worried about a prolapsed cord. All good so far and it may never happen, but I am in the right place should anything go wrong.

I had Gestational Diabetes confirmed which was all hormonal (helped along by the prednisone) and not diet/exercise related. So I am now on 2 x insulin a day. Bub has always been on the bigger side, as the donor was over 6 foot, but bub is now showing a few signs of GD.

My feet, ankles and legs have blown up and are sore, but thankfully I don't have pre-eclampsia. Im currently in those sexy surgical stockings!

My clexane has been changed to 2 x heparin a day in preparation for my caesarean.

We still do not know if bub has a cleft palate, as well as the cleft lip, we will find out at birth. Whilst in hospital, I have had the best support, the team is wonderful and fully prepared for any cleft scenario.

I had to finish up work extra early to come into hospital, but I will do whatever I have to do for the safe arrival of bub. Finally, can I just say that I started this whole IVF journey when this thread was on page 1 back in 2010 and I am SO close to realising my dream....DONT GIVE UP LADIES!!! XXX
