    Default Watery discharge?

Im 37 weeks. Since i woke up ive been having watery discharge with small clumps of cloudy looking discharge. At first i thought i was leaking because i could feel it coming out but the clumpy bits in it didnt make sense to be amniotic fluid. Plus when i coughed a couple times nothing else came out. What could cause this and is it normal?

I think it's just normal discharge for this stage of pregnancy. I had a similar issue once and could have sworn it was amniotic fluid. But was told it was normal. I still suspect I had a leak though. Amniotic fluid has a particular kind of smell, strangely like semen, but also a little bit sweet if that makes sense?

Maybe it's a combination of amniotic fluids and your mucous plug. Might be worth calling your midwife.

Extra discharge towards the end can be very normal, but I would pop a pad on and just monitor anyway. Most likely It's nothing but better to keep an eye on it anyway

Glad to hear! May just be one of the more unpleasant pregnancy symptoms
