    I just weaned my DS off swaddling last month (he was 6 mths). I didn't want to waste money buying a specific swaddle/bag/etc just for the transition as I knew it wouldn't last long and he is my last baby. I just used a muslin wrap. First 48hrs I wrapped him with one arm out. Then 48hrs with both arms out and swaddle around the chest. Then nothing. I also introduced a teddy bear so he had something to do with his hands while falling asleep. He sleeps so much better during these hot days and nights now that he's unwrapped.
