    Default How do you cook unstabilised rolled oats?

    We've been eating quick oats for brekkie for a while, until last week I saw "unstabilised" oats for sale. I was curious, googled it and found that it is a much less processed form of oats. So I've bought a packet but there are no cooking directions on the packet and I can't seem to find anything on the net. Does anyone know how to cook unstabilised oats?

    They're for me and bub to replace our quick oats porridge. Can't you cook them into a porridge? I use 1/2 cup quick oats + 1/2 milk 1/2 water and cook on a stove top. I was wondering if the ratio is different for unstabilised oats and if you have to soak them at all?
