Default OK to take raspberry leaf tablets at 36 weeks?

I purchased some today from a health foods shop to see if they will do anything. I got home and went to take one as per the instructions and i had a chat with the lady that worked there.. But i couldnt without asking on here what peoples experiences are..
Im 36+4 and was told it would be okay for me to take it. What are your thoughts?

Yes it should be ok to take it. I took it from ~ 30 weeks and also drank the tea from about 36 weeks.

The result of the raspberry leafed tea or tablets is to soften and ripen the cervix for labour. I believe it helped me.

Evening primrose oil is to soften and ripen your cervix.
Raspberry leaf tea is to strengthen your uterus to make contractions more effective during labour.

Yes it helps prepare your body for labour not induce it as people often think. I took two a day from 30 weeks. And had a very efficient labour!

I drank raspberry leaf tea from about 38 weeks and had a great labour - 7 hours and no pain relief

I inserted EPO vaginally and took RL from 36 weeks and my labour was 4 hours total with just gas. I still tore bad but overall I had a great labour/birth experience and I reckon they contributed to it.

So yu can use evening primrose oil with raspberry leaf? Can you get that at any chemist or a health food shop? Do they come in oral tablets too and which do you buy to insert vaginally? I dont know much about the primrose oil.. Yet
