Default I think part of my filling came out!

I have a filling on one of my molars, first ever filing in my life and it's bothered me since it went in, just always felt tight (awkward placing of a filing the dentist said).

Anyway today it felt like I had something stuck in my tooth so in true classy fashion I used my fingernail as a toothpick and a hard small l shape white bit came out. I can only assume its part of the filing.

It actually feels better than it has in ages , the tooth doesn't feel so tight but do I need to go to the dentist? I'm in no pain, there is a slight bit of a rough but where I assume it came from. I should add that I am quite fearful of Dentists

Yep. You do need to go back. Otherwise it may even do more damage and you could potentially lose the entire tooth. When you return explain that it just did not feel right. Hopefully they will do a better job this time. Also if you have had it done recently they should not charge you, a good dentist will replace it free of charge.
    Good Luck
