    Default Homemade recipes

Does anyone have any tried and tested, fool proof "homemade" recipes they would like to share?

It tastes so much nicer than store bought and easy to make too!

If anyone has any yogurt recipes that would be awesome as my attempts always turn out too runny.

    Tastes exactly the same

    Chocolate yogo

    1 cup milk powder
    3 cups water
    2 heaped tablespoons cocoa powder
    3 tablespoons corn flour
    1/4 cup sugar

Combine all ingredients in a pot.
stir regularly over heat until it thickens and comes to boiling point.

Decant into portion sized containers or reusable food pouches. Cool and eat. Great for school lunches!

    Yum!

    So easy.

There is a home made yogurt in this month (I think) donna hay magazine. She normally has them on the website too

    Homemade gravy

    Stock - bring to boil.
Stir in corn flour paste (made from a small amount of cornflour and tap water) to thicken.
Add splashes of soy sauce until you get desired taste.

Beats gravox anytime. I have most of my friends now using this recipe.

My favourite thing to do is also whip up Yorkshire pudding to dip in it - yummo!!

Thanks for posting this! I've always wondered how to make my own and was so sad when I had no Gravox lady week to cure my mashed potato and gravy craving
