hmmm interesting how many ppl hover. lol. I once walked into a toilet in a shopping centre and the person before me had obviously hovered doing a poo but missed. it was like the runs but all over the back of the top of the toilet seat and front of lid... and there was ALOT of it. gag. I think I have never run out of a toilet faster than then! lol. just yuck.

I keep wipes in my handbag and always wipe the seat first. I also keep antibacterial gel in my handbag, I don't touch the taps.

    Hover.

But it's freaking hard to teach a 4yo boy to do the same when doing a no 2, so I try to put toilet paper down for him to sit on when out and about.

I wipe the seat over first then sit down. Can't pee if I'm hovering plus it hurts my knees.

I hover but a few times I have lost my balance and end up sitting :-/

What grosses me out even more than people not washing their hands or touching the tap after washing them is the women who just rinse their hands off with water.
I'm sorry but WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

I hope those that use wipes are flushable ones. Baby wipes do as much damage to the plumbing as tampons and pads. I am gobsmacked at the amount of women who DO flush their hygiene products down the toilet.

You shouldn't even flush flushable wipes. They're just as bad. My housemates a plumber and you should have heard the tirade about them. And women who flush their tampons.

I just sit, I'll wipe down the seat sometimes with toilet paper if I'm not busting but usually I just pee, wash my hands and leave. I must be such a grub...
