    Default Blood test...

I have a blood test today - it's for my specialist appointment next week.

I HATE needles and I'm really nervous. Dh normally holds my hand but he has to be at work on time today so I have told him I'll be fine to do it on my own... Not looking forward to it.

Trying to keep calm and put in a brave face as I don't want him to feel bad.

A nurse told me years ago to wiggle my toes. She said it focuses your mind on something else. I've done that every time since then. Worth a try?

Just done - the nurse was lovely and had me wiggle my toes. I'm pretty proud to have done it in my own (with minimal tears)
