I'm in melbourne and we recently moved house so that out boys can go to the affiliated PS to then get into the High school we prefer.
A big step, but well worth it.

Just apply for out of area. That's what I will be doing this year for my boy, there is no way in HELL that any of my kids are going to our zoned high school.

I'm not going to use a fake address; I don't know anyone I could use anyway LOL. I'm choosing between 2 high schools; one I know is very very hard to get into out of area, and then there's another which I have heard is easier to get into out of area. If he doesn't get into either, I think I will cry. But I think he'll be fine to get in to the second one, which I think I prefer anyway.
