Congratulations Vix for getting to 17 weeks. I was very lucky not to get morning sickness and my hair got thicker instead. I'm 30 weeks today and booked in for c section at 38 weeks so not long now before I meet my girl. How is everyone else going ?

Ah Vix that sounds a bit rough, pregnancy can be tough on the old bod eh. Sounds like you got lucky Hels!

I have my counseling booked at Monash next week.. And so here we go again. My DHEA and Ubiquinol have arrived too so I'll start those in the morning. Might wean onto the DHEA, kind of hoping not to develop a deep voice, acne and hair all over my body!!

Chiefsgirl: just wondering on the melatonin, going to order some off iherb - there are warnings on the bottles not to take if you are preg or could become preg, plus I saw some other google rubbish about birth defects. Any thoughts? Would you take it right through stimming then stop after egg collection?

Kelly70, yes, I just take it up to epu then stop till I know the outcome. Stop the dhea at epu too.

Kel Lynn will prescribe you a compounded higher dose of melatonin which you can only get at a compound pharmacy. I think she tells you to take it up to transfer but I haven't got that far yet so I'm not 100% on that. I slid asked Lynn about dhea as I know she's put some other patients on it but she says she doesn't prescribe it anymore as the research isn't strong enough so she didn't feel the side effects were worth it. I don't want to put you off at all, just thought id let you know that's what she told me. I was taking Chinese herbs which she doesn't really believe in either but she understands that us girls need to try everything so she just told me to stop them during the stimming phase.

Thanks Chiefs and Kel. Aaaargh not sure what to do on the Dhea now, I might have a crack anyway, I'll stop if anything crazy happens. Might wait til I see Lynn then in terms of melatonin, just hoping it's not really Sept before I see her and that an apt comes up!

I have an apt tomorrow with FS at MIVF, wondering if I should go or pull the pin. I'm expecting she'll be a bit negative after my recent failed cycle and my age. And potentially not have much in the way of ideas.

Tough call Kel on whether to go tomorrow. I guess it can't hurt to see what she says? At least you know you have a back up plan if she hadn't nothing new to offer.

I'd go along to see the FS Kel and see if she has any new idea' scant hurt to try something while you are waiting for September.
I'm still waiting to ovulate CD 24!!!! Had a line on LH test Sun, Mon, Tue but not as dark as the test line. Had bloods done yesterday and this morning. Still waiting to hear back from the clinic.

Yes go and see Kel, be prepared for negativity and suggestions of donor eggs. Don't let it get to you if she can't offer anything further at least you have Monash. You have only had 2 goes. As for the dhea, I would think wait till you have a FS monitoring you. I'd just be cautious about meds. I remember asking my FS about taking it and she said she doesn't believe it does anything for fertility. I guess they all have their own opinions.
