Contain an egg. When I had my last cycle, they called the doc to ask whether to proceed and she had said yes.

Thanks Vix, I think she said it was 17-18mm today - does that make it mature?

Hi Kelly it means the follicle is mature and likely to contain an egg. When you trigger the follicle will continue to mature until collection.

Hi Kelly, my dr likes follies to be around 18-22mm at trigger, and as Helsbaby says, it will grow a bit between trigger and EPU. That is apparently the optimum size for a follicle. Good luck, hoping to hear good news on Saturday about your egg
