Just had dinner with friends of ours and found out they're 18 weeks and due in August. *sigh* I'm happy for them, I really am, but it's also making me so desperately want my own bfp... Which won't happen until at least May now. Stupid stupid. I hope these Chinese herbs work!

I just had dinner with family (SIL is due in Sept with their first) and had another girl message me earlier today that she is due in Sept with her second.

    We'll get ours soon!!!

I hope so. I'm excited that I get to go baby shopping for them, but at the same time I wish it was for us. I always wanted a baby by the time I was 30 and it's not looking good. I'll settle for being pregnant when I turn 30, but I hope it doesn't take that long (I've just turned 29)! I'm really hanging on this acupuncture/Chinese herbs working for me..

I had the same thing too - wanted to have a baby/be pregnant by the time I was 30. That dream was dashed as DH and I had only started going out when we were 27.5. He wasn't ready to get married by 30. (Got married at 32). Sigh.

DH and I started dating not long after I turned 24 and he knew this from the get go. But then he was wanting to wait until we were married, fair enough I thought. Then the wedding was coming up and I wanted to go off BC a few months before the wedding but he wasn't keen, so I basically said when I finished the packet of the pill that was it, he had no choice in the matter haha. But then he just kind of avoided it by putting on condoms until one day he didn't, and for the next 2 months we were officially not not trying. Then I had some stern words with him again and slowly he's come around to it a lot more. He keeps thinking there's no rush, which in a way is true, but here we are 10 months down the track and no bfp. Even with the acupuncture he's a bit whatever about it. I think he just assumes one day it will happen. It's like he's not even aware that there could be problems with one or both of us. *sigh* Doesn't help that I usually like to know all the answers before I start!

I met my incredible gorgeous amazing baby Nephew yesterday. I was a good Aunty and changed his diaper and gave him his two bottles while I was there. He is so damn beautiful it hurts. I can't wait to meet our fs so we can get started on our ivf journey to a bfp of our own!!!
