    Sorry to hear MrsT.
My DH had bad SA when we fist went to FS, lots of cone heads and very viscous. But about 12 months later when we saw our current FS it was all ok. I guess it depends on what areas the deficiency is in. He didn't take any supplements or anything, so we are not sure what he may have done to improve his results!
I'd check with your FS re IUI just to make sure. Ours is only $1500/cycle, and you get about $500 back, and hit the safety net after one. Feel free to ignore me! Keeheehee. I'm not sure of your situation just trying to give some helpful advice!

Hugs....I hope you can get some advice/strategies/solutions!

sorry to hear you are having troubles @MrsTugs

My DH had not so good SA last time around, his issues were around morphology and motility. Turns out a change in diet and a few other methods helped improve his quality. Don't know if the same things are relevant to your situation, but I know it helped us last time... FWIW sperm has a 72 day turn around, so if there is a way possible to improve the health of sperm, any changes you make will cause the improvement to happen in around 3 months or so.

Oh of course ICSI than? I know it's terrible news but I am so glad you didn't fluff around waiting to do testing hun!
Yeah very grateful our gp listened when we asked. And of course we proved to her that waiting wouldn't have been right for us lol.
I'm not sure about all the lingo etc, time to head over to the ivf section for a read me thinks!

Well DH has nearly zero in count, no mobility and poor quality. There's not a single category that was better than "terrible". So no IUI will be pretty much out of the question unfortunately. The silly swimmers wouldn't know an egg if we put it right under their nose.

Thanks Em. DH is doing totally fine. Nothing ever phases him. I can't stop thinking about it all. But honestly I'm fine too. Really this is good news; we are now one step closer to our bfp!
