Hey Coco - she was due to be born via planned c/section last week. As they were preparing for surgery, they checked on baby....only to discover no heartbeat. No answers as to how or why

She was able to spend the night with her which was wonderful. Many photos, footprints etc that she will cherish forever.

Thought I would just update everyone on our situation - DH is going for his second SA tomorrow to confirm the results, but basically it's all quite bad. Our gp has referred us to an IVF clinic and has advised us we will be getting a call for an appt in the next 3 weeks or so. She made it clear it would be next to impossible to conceive naturally. Fingers crossed this is the next step in our journey towards our bubba.

Just catching up on some posts. Been away just letting the bad sa results sink in and doing a ton of research!

Congrats to all those who got bfp's and goodluck to all those either waiting naturally or to see a fertility specialist.

Soo sorry to hear about the miscarriage. What a heartbreaking thing to go through. I couldn't even imagine.

Mrs t - sorry to hear about the results hun but a second test is important. Sa results can vary. We are yet to do our second yet. If youdont mind sharing your results I could share with you ssome of the research I've found online such as vitamins or what assisted techniques may work. All the best with your appointment with the fertility specialist and also hoping your second test results are better.

    Thanks ladies.
My tracking cycle came back showing that I am ovulating, and surges are all good. Numbers could be higher, but fertility drugs will help here, when the time comes. I'm assuming I'll be given a prog boost.
DH is his usual infallible self. I tried to ask him as many questions as possible to see if he was internalizing or honestly was okay. I think he really is okay. This sort of stuff doesn't seem to bother him. Which I am very grateful for. I will approach it a few more times to see if I can glean anything more from him, but I honestly think he has adjusted great. It feels strange to be throwing around the IVF word so quickly (we are 8 months into our bfp journey) but it's been made clear that we will just be delaying the inevitable.
DH does his second SA tomorrow so once the results are back I'll post the two comparatively.
