LysnDan- it's hard not to stress, isn't it? When PG with my first, I was so relaxed. He wasn't premmie or anything, but still had a pretty traumatic birth. I stressed all through my second pregnancy. Pretty sure I'll be the same the next time around! 😫 lol

I had my bloods done this morning- just waiting for the phone call 😬😬🙏🙏
Only 10DPO so still a chance the levels could be too low. Fingers crossed!

Ok time for persies. Finally had a chance to sit and read through a couple of pages lol

Fi- I felt the sand whilst TTC my daughter and after my losses. I couldn't handle seeing pregnant women and they were everywhere I looked!! Don't feel bad it's completely normal feeling xx

HOF- so with a natural cycle what are the chances it'll take straight away? It's great you don't need triggers and the like. I hope all goes well xx

Crafty- wow 10wks already? That's gone so fast!! You must be hanging to see bub again!!

Sashie- your u/a pic is just amazing! What do you think you're having? Lil boy or girl?

M2OR- was your second birth traumatic at all or did you find it somewhat healing? Good luck on your bloods. Have you POAS? Sorry if I've missed.

Gotta go. DD is running a muck

Odds are the same as a medicated cycle I was told

I had a traumatic first birth too, had the next 2 at home, this one will be back to hospital!

If it's not too personal to ask, what happened to call it "traumatic"?

(I'm already so petrified about the birth process!)

    Hi Shrillian

I had severe early onset pre eclampsia with my daughter. Had a category 1 code blue (baby's and mums life at risk) emergency c section 3 months early. I had a birth plan all written up and didn't get any thing I asked for. My husband wasn't even present
My epidural/spinal didn't work properly and I healed terribly after my cesarean.

Then with my ectopic, hospital staff didn't listen to my concerns and I ended up losing my right tube. To say I have lost faith in the medical system is an understatement!! It takes me a long time to feel comfortable in a hospital or even with a doctor!!!

I just requested no extra people in the room (privacy) Shrillian due to childhood abuse, instead I had 7 people just watching! I had flashbacks for most of the time I spent pushing (1.5hrs). I felt very violated and pretty much like I did after being abused and I found it very hard to bond/respond with my son (still have issues now) I had pnd due to it as well. My next 2 births were much more private and I felt a lot safer emotionally, this time I think my IPs are going to pay for a doula so that has eased my mind a lot. I highly recommend one, wouldnt wish a traumatic birth on my worst enemy.

Oh HOF I'm so sorry it was so traumatic for you. They shouldn't have had so many people in the room.

I've heard Doulas are fantastic if and when we get pregnant I am going to have a doula I'd love a home birth with no drugs but I'm going to need a repeat c section. No vbac for me

Hey hun, second birth was a VBAC. I decided to go with an OB for DS2, because I was so upset with how things turned out with DS1. Much, much better experience and recovery time was so much faster!
I've been POAS for the past 3 days (I think?) and all BFN's. I drink so much water though, I think with it being so early and levels probably aren't too high, I'm diluting it. Still haven't heard from doctor hopefully soon!

Edited to add- I just saw you can't have your vbac
Are you going with an OB? I think a planned c-section is a lot smoother than emergency. Well from what I've heard from friends, etc. their experiences were much nicer than mine!
Mine with DS1 was horrible, but I was quite comfortable for my OB to do it with DS2, if he felt the need. He did everything he could to get me my vbac though! xx
