Default HCG was going well, now has slowed down - input please :)

    Hi everyone,

We we pleased to get a BFP with out most recent IVF cycle that was cancelled due to early ovulation (the scientists were still on holidays and couldn't come in to defrost our embryos, long story). So we were pleasantly surprised to get a positive result the old fashioned way. Anyway, my concerns lie with my hcg levels:

    16 dpo: 175
    18 dpo: 440
    21 dpo: 1375
    23 dpo: 3105
    25 dpo: 8400

    and now the latest

    27 dpo: 11800.

so my numbers were doubling, nearly tripling even up until the last one. So I'm pretty bummed about it now. I have read that they slow down at about 6 weeks which I'm not up to yet, however that seemed like a rapid slow down. Just FYI, my progesterone was pretty high, 120, when I found out I was pregnant.

Does anyone have any feedback or thoughts?

    thank you

Ur levels are fine porky! I was getting mine checked every few days at the start and then weekly. Its normal for them to slow down once the hcg gets higher. Once its over 6000 its normal for it to take more than 96 hrs to double check out this link...

It has to stop doubling somewhere lol. I had mine checked until they reached 95000 and they slowed right down once they hit the early thousands. Im nearly 11 weeks now, ive had scans and everything is perfect

Its completely normal. Dont stress, ur numbers are great!

I've also read that the levels can vary between different places
