Who did you make the invite out to?
How long have they been together for?

I made the invite out to my friend and her dad who she has replaced with her partner. I don't even know how long they have been together for. My predicament was that due to venue restrictions, I can't 'waste' spots with ppl I don't know or have any interactions with. So at the time I sent the invite, I didn't really know they were together, have never spoken to him and just did the preferred and safe option. I don't want to pay $70 for someone I have never spoken to instead of someone I know and love however my friend has made the decision for me :O

    Hmmm hard one.

I would of done 2 separate invitations one to her and one to him.

I can kinda understand why she thinks its ok to now bring her partner though.

I would suggest talking to her and just explain to her kinda like you did here as in you're limited to spaces and that her and her dad were your first choices but you also have a list of others you want to come but can only come if others say no like her dad.

I can too but I wouldn't think to do the same coz I would think it rude but that's just me. At least she let me know beforehand I guess!

It's actually the least of my worries so I'm just gunna let it happen because I love my friend and want to get to at least say hello to her partner and be introduced although I doubt we'll ever talk again as we live away from each other lol. I'm putting my foot down from now on though

I need to ask my brother if he'll be maid of honour...
It is proving to be more expensive but most of the expense is on the accommodation that we are paying for.
