    Default Ttc after miscarriage

I'm sure this has been asked many times..... but whats the general consensus on how long to wait before trying again? Just until after your next period or a whole cycle (so after your second one)??

It depends on a few things. Has Ur dr advised waiting at all?

We have always tried immediately, but that was after 2 straight forward m/c (ie no curette or d&c etc), given the all clear from the dr and I feel up to it.

    Me + he = dd1 (July 07), dd2 (July 10), dd3 (August 13), dd4 (due may 14)

Dr hasn't really said. But did hint towards just after one. I have felt 'normal' for awhile now. There were no complications, no interventions. Think im up to it !

We were advised by our OB to wait for 3 cycles after I had a D&C, we ended up only waiting 2 & I got pregnant first go. Didn't have any complications. I think if you're ready then go for it, there are plenty of ladies on here that went straight away & have positive stories to share.

We've been advised to wait until I've had one AF then can try again - I had a MMC and D&C.

The ob advised us with our recent loss there was no reason to wait. This was following a mmc at 10wks and a d&c. He said the only reason they would suggest waiting is to allow time to heal emotionally

On the other hand, after our first mmc and d&c in 2010, my gp said to wait 3 cycles. There is obviously a great expanse of opinion in the profession but this time around I've taken trust in the ob
