At least 2 hrs sleep and1 hr of quiet or of low to medium noise.

I dont cope well if I had very little sleep and a lot of noise. One or the other is fine but not together.

So yeah those needs don't go too well with the demands of motherhood lol.
I'm the same as you. After a whole day of thinking, talking, cleaning, cuddling I just want to be left alone

Sleep - my 4yo suffers from anxiety and sleeps poorly, waking several times a night, so I'm a walking zombie most days.
Work - even if just for the adult conversation.
Me time - this is my new year's resolution as I always seem to put my needs last, so I have joined a yoga class to give me an hour of uninterrupted time to relax and unwind each week.
Coke zero, chocolate and coffee are additional extras

Active social life, work and a clean house. I need to be busy or have jobs to do everyday.

Routine ... I feel so out of whack over the school holidays as everything (including work) just stops. I feel sloth like and a bit lost after christmas. I've actually enjoyed being back at work this week planning for the new school year I'm busier with work/tutoring kids/DS1s sporting commitments/gym sessions for me ... But I thrive on routine, structure & lists. I honestly suck at relaxing. I think the holiday break is way too long.

    An ordered life.

DH struggles with the concept that I can't relax properly with a messy house.

Doesn't mean it's always tidy but I cope so much better if it is.

I also like the rest of my life organised. Like lists a lot and don't like things hanging over my head unplanned.

I need time to do certain things by myself. Like house work and shopping. If i wasnt pregnant id probably have the occasional alcoholic beverage with dp. We would sit up until midnight some nights watching movies and cuddling. I cant do that now as im always tired but cant wait to just sit back and relax when the kiddies are sound asleep.
