The only thing I have brought at Aldi that I did not like is the Dairy Fine $1 blocks of chocolate.
Everything else, meat, fruit and veg etc has been excellent
Can't think of anything I've got from aldi that I didn't like!!
I used their nappies which I liked and will use again.
Also their sunscreen is really good and a lot cheaper as well. I need to go and get some more.
I have also used their weight loss shakes which were very yummy.
But since 2 separate products within a few months have been linked to listeria outbreaks (one a dip, the other a hard cheese), I wont be shopping for food there (am currently pregnant).
I think Aldi food is incredibly dodgy. Mouldy bread, rotten vegetables, horse meat in their beef products (overseas), and now listeria outbreaks. I really don't think the small savings are worth the very poor quality of food and chemically laden personal care items.
I shopped there a lot when I was flat broke (canned/boxed items), but refuse to now. For a while I avoided the food products and just bought nappies and wipes, but I've since learnt that they are a really unethical shopping choice, so I have boycotted altogether.

I buy a few products there mainly because they are good at keeping nasty additives out of their food eg their rice cakes are 100% rice, no flavourings, their Christmas candy canes had real peppermint and a 'safe' food coloring. I buy their veggies and a couple of other things. Their chocolate is tasty and some if not all is made in belgium. Their $8 cask of white wine is pretty good too ha ha!
Interested to hear what is unethical about them tho...
