    Default * ALDI brands / products *

So a small spin-off from the "brand snob" thread 😁... Which ALDI brands / products would you recommend & how do they compare to the Coles / WW brands?

I've been pretty happy with most of the products I've bought from Aldi. I haven't bought their meat before, so I can't comment on that.

I regularly buy their lite cottage cheese and flavoured tuna for my work lunches. Both are cheaper than any brands that Coles or Woolies have, and the quality is good.

I've recently started shipping there again and its so much cheaper.
I like the tuna and their pork sausages are also good.

I've also used the baby wiped and liked them.

I dont used there laundry detergents as I've found that they aren't as good but that may have changed

I work for a large food company ... and we have supplied an aldi brand in the past. Generally companies that supply these brands will not change the product inside from their own brands ie For many products if you look at the format of the aldi packaging eg the shape and lid type etc they use you will find expensive brands with an aldi name!

Their nappies and wipes are great.
Their chocolate is nice especially the dark chilli one.
I've had their orange juice - the freshly squeezed one and it was lovely.
Their deodorant ($2) is nice too.
Oh and the fake magnums are nice.

I love everything at Aldi with a couple of exceptions:
    - The deodorant isn't very good, I found I was getting stinky after half a day. However Aldi now stocks rexona so I buy that!
    - my kids hate the Aldi brand 'nutragrain'
    - The Aldi brand lite ice cream is pretty yuck

I really like everything else! And it really has cut our shopping bill in half by going to Aldi!

I love the cheese and yoghurt, love the choc chip biscuits too...

The passata is my favourite. Cheaper than home brand and has nothing but tomatoes and salt.

I go to Aldi mostly for their Passata. It's the best IMO! We like their pasta and plain rice crackers. Their meat is pretty good. It's gotten better in the last 12 months variety wise. Their milk is good too and they sell A2 milk cheaper than the big supermarkets. Their devilled sausages sachets are great too.
