Default Sciatica in the first trimester?

Hi all, I'm only 9+3 and after being on my feet for a while I'm experiencing sciatica pain. Can anyone relate? I didn't get this type of pain til about 36 weeks last pregnancy!

Well I'm glad I'm not alone, but it's awful! I think I overdid it cleaning yesterday.

I got it during the first trimester too and thought it was ridiculous to be happening so early. My Ob told me that some people are just more prone to it and when your body starts relaxing everything early on, sometimes things just get stuck where they shouldn't be.

I found that gentle swimming helped get things back to where it's meant to be, and once past first trimester, pregnancy massage is awesome!

Mine definitely flares up when I clean, vacuum and mop.

I think I have always been predisposed to it as my dad has had problems with it for as long as I can remember. I used to only get it very occasionally and it wouldn't last long. Since having it with DS it flares up way more easily and it's been terrible this pregnancy. I'm not looking forward to my third trimester!!

It's aweful. I had it for the entire time during my 1st pregnancy but didn't have it for the second.
