My baby starts Prep (Qld) next Tuesday. I'm def feeling sadder than when DS1 started!! It was more excitement and proud; this is just sad!

I'm actually not sure what to do on the first day; re settling them in. My DH usually has the morning off for first days of school; esp prep! But how do I do it, logistically? Who gets dropped off first? I'm thinking we'll go do DS1 first, then leave him then take DS2. But DS1 wld want to be there for his little brother, and I don't want DS1 to feel any less important!! Arghhhhhhh!!!
    Help!??! lol

That's Mine have 25% off with the code SAVE25 if anyone needs name labels - I really like their 'stick ons' room for their full name and my mobile number underneath. They stick well and go through the dishwasher without peeling off.

Thanks for the replies; I thought that was going to be the best doing oldest to youngest.
I think I'll still feel bad that I have to leave DS1- he's starting Yr 3, but can be a little sensitive sometimes & you know that good ol' mothers guilt!! lol :/
I also think it will be better for DS2 if DS1 isn't there; we were still getting random teary mornings at Kindy, so it could be a teary day (for all!!)

Nomsie; did you manage to find any more red shirts?
We've also got a red shirt school so I could always send a couple your way if you weren't able to find any

Everyone in our house is super excited for DS1 to start school, he is 5 1/2 and really needs the stimulation. This is his last week at childcare and we think it will take some time for us to settle into a new routine. He has been wearing his school shoes in with pride!
We don't have a book list which I was surprised at, I loved doing the stationery thing at school v
DH & I both work full time with 1 day each per week at home, I have only occasionally felt the mothers guilt with childcare but school seems to be designed around a completely different set of priorities. By this i mean activities during the day, 3 student free days in the first term, finishing early 3 or 4 days aswell. I know this is a bit of a vent, I'm just a little nervous on making sure we do the best for everyone.
