Hi everyone, I'm about to start my 2nd cycle at Pivot, just wondering who else is there or has left with a baby and what your experience has been like so far

Littlekiwi, I'm going through Pivet, up to day 9 of my FET cycle. We have an almost 2yo DS conceived through the same batch of frozen embryos.

    good luck!

Starting on gonal f tomorrow. Oddly exited about needles for a change. One step closer I guess. I found out my LH dropped to 0.4 on day7 of my last cycle. FS said it shouldn't be below 1 and he thinks that's what caused 0/18 to fertilise. Less than .5% chance of that happening apparently so I should have bought lotto ticket!! Will be doing ICSI this round and using the glue, all in! What's another $500 on glue!!!

Hope you've all had a great day

Good luck littlekiwi. Babydust to us all.

Wow $500 for the glue?! Concept is doing it for free. My clinic charges $135. I know pivet is always expensive....i was their patient and there is something i didnt like about them. It has nothing to do with the FS as that FS consulted in both pivet and concept.

@babygirl: it is listed on their website. It says all transfers are done with the embryo glue. No harm in asking just to be sure next time. It isnt exactly a "glue". Just some sort of liquid medium that makes the environment more friendly for the embryo in uterus. It cant hurt if anything can help. I dont think I had it on my last transfer. It is recommended this time. My FS has thrown everything in as this is our last.
