Sorry lady, I dont know the answer. I am hitting brick wall with perth clinics. Luckily through "insider", i have found someone at concept who is willing to do the endo scratch for me (without me as their ivf patient) before heading east for the transfer. Pretty much starting from scratch of making appt to chat with the Concept FS.

Anyway, I am sure that most of you feel the same. I get offended/angry when people/Dr tell me that you are still young!! I told the GP that the donor wait list is 2 yrs in WA and that's exactly what she said. That's not the point, isnt it? It might take years or few tries to make it happen. I have to wait 6--7 months to go on 2nd try. There goes half a year.

Argh...i suppose to be on vacation but here I am, thinking about ivf.

Good luck Kelbel and everyone else.

Bb great news someone can do it here for u, saves having to worry about trying to get over east, hope u r enjoying yourself overseas
Welcome 85Twisty, all of this def costs a bit of $$ very thankful for Medicare, we also have private health which covered a little too. between 1st and 2nd cycle we had a bit of a break to save more money and also to just take some time out. We were also lucky we had a little bit set aside from house savings. Gl x

@85Twisty Medicare should help out a lot and then private health. And it also depends on the clinic
    who are you with?

Hi Ladies, looking for a bit of advice.

Just wanted to find out, with IVF do you have private health insurance and does it help towards the cost?? Or do you just pay the hospital fees from the fertility clinic? I'm just trying to enquire if it's worth getting private cover??

Any advice would be great thank yous

@babygirl7 I have Private Health and it paid for my Egg Collection (Hospital fees and Anaethesist) and also some towards the transfer. It has helped us but we had it anyway for Maternity.
