Wow Sharlie, you poor thing. Change clinics! I can't believe they didn't get your dh onto multivitamins straight away! That and your horrendous cycle! I really feel for you. I had a terrible experience with my clinic and as a result changed and it was the best thing we have ever done. I would strongly recommend my new clinic and Dr, there is quite a waitlist but he's worth it. PM me if you want more details. Chin up, don't give up yet, especially when you aren't receiving the right level of service and care! Xx

We are approaching BT day for FET #2. This cycle was a bit strange as the transfer was done on Day 20. They advise us that it really is only day 17 because of the 3DT but still seems quite late. Anyone know the science behind this? Her lining was apparently thick enough on the real day 17 but they decided to still do transfer on day 20.

I'm going to ask the specialist before our next cycle just to get an idea of why they do what they do. But thought I'd ask you ladies first.

She is on progynova which stops ovulation so she wouldn't have. They didn't do any sort of blood test either. Just seems odd.

Apparently progynova stops her periods as well so like last month we'll wait till Thursday blood test, then if it's negative she'll stop the meds and it will show up 2 days later...

AFM I've just been and had by day 21 appointment today as well as my very first endo scratch so here's to hoping my next icsi cycle is a success! Start syneral tonight and after af comes I will be on 250iu of puregon. Really hoping for so good numbers this time as last time we got only 9 eggs and from that nine 3 were only good for fertilisation. All 3 fertilised and we had 2 8 cells put back on day 3 and the last embryo only 5 cells on day 3 stopped dividing so none to freeze.

    Good luck sleepydude when's BT?

Sorry sleepy dude I'm not sure about that protocol. I was always under the assumption that you need to ovulate to create a corpus lutetium that helps maintain pregnacy up until the placenta takes over. But that's my understanding and am most likely wrong. Good luck for you BT though

Sleepydude is your wife doing a HRT cycle? I did one of those and it doesnt matter when they do the transfer I dont think. My HRT cycle took 6 weeks to get to transfer as my lining wouldnt thicken up. I moved to ovulation induction cycles after that. Good Luck

Sorry sleepydude, i dont know either. My FS told me to do a natural FET cycle If i dont ovulate, she will cancel the cycle and proceed with a med cycle the following month.

Nezz, did the endo scratch hurt? Any pain killer or sedation?

The scratch didn't hurt to me just felt a little discomfort. They gave me 2 sedative tablets to take 2 hours before and about 30 mins before I took 2 panadine tablets just in case. I seem fine now a little spotting but not much cramping but it's only early yet. We will see thanks for asking.
