Hi Ladies I am having my EC on Friday and I went for bloods and scan today and my E2 level is 6500...is this pretty high?? I am a bit worried about OHSS. The highest my E2 has ever got before is 3000! Should I consider not putting back my last frozen embryo? All of these ones hopefully will be frozen and sent for CGH.

    Thank you!
Ohss is generally an issue when your levels are above 9000. 6500 should be no problem and your clinic would advise if there was cause for concern

    HI Ladies,

I hope you don't mind me jumping in on your thread- wishing you all the very best with these cycles!!!!!
I am about to do cycle number three with Pivet (first, fresh, was negative, chemical pregnancy only, second, FET, miscarried @ 5 weeks, hoping this FET is the one!!!!) my transfer date is next friday 21st Feb. I live in Margaret River and I normally use an acupuncturist down here for post transfer treatments, but shes gone AWOL- handy! So I am looking for an acupuncturist in Perth, pref South of the River or even Bunbury Busselton if anyone has any recommendations please?? Thank you so much!

    Thanks ladies!

Bbhope, I had about 9/10 follicles but they think there is about 6 mature ones. I was hoping for a few more as they have tried to push me this time as we are doing cgh. Our fertilisation rate is always pretty low so I am not sure if we will get enough for cgh. Have to wait and see!

    Welcome back pink Popsicle.

MrsEmilyS: i know what you meant. We always want the average of 9--10 mature eggs. When i only had 6 follicles, i wanted more because some might be empty. It turned out that i have 5 out of 6 mature, all contained eggs, right on the prediction based on my E2.

Wishnhope: just see your signature. Hurray for transfer. FX for BFP.
