Default Calling all Perth girls # 19

Ladies... thinking about going onto the next IVF/ICSI cycle for Feb... third times' the charm!

Also considering switching from Pivet to FPWA. If I remember correctly... at Pivet you have to wait until Day 1, then you call them and they set up a Day 20 (?) appt ... Then you have to wait until your next day 1 to commence treatment, injecting from day 1. (Yes? I'm fuzzy on the deets now).

Is that the same process everywhere? Ie I can't just tell FPWA I had my period 5 days ago and start from there? My period is due a few days before i could get the initial appointment at FPWA. I'm worried that by switching clinics we are going to lose a month or maybe two....!

Welcome MrsEm and gl today for transfer Nezz. Sharlie gl for round 3 we will be going for 3rd round around April time, fx this is the one really draining this journey at times. We go to FSS and call day 1 before ivf cycle to book day 21, then seem always to start meds around day 2/3, last time I was on synarel and Puregon, synarel to start with.

The thing is we did not get the results of the biopsy until the last day of cycle 2, we actually got them on the same day as my positive pregnancy test.
Thanks Lillaa, I might give them a call this morning and book an appointment and see what they see. I am hoping to fit this in with my month off after they retrieve the eggs for CGH testing. I used to see Dr Yeap at FSWA so I wonder if she would do it as well. Dr Hart always has a long wait time for new patients. Did they also take NK cells blood test as well? Did they test you for any other immune issues?
Thanks for your help. Congrats your pregnancy

    Congrats Nezz!

If anyone else knows who can do NK cell biopsy (other than prof hart and Dr Turner), please let me know. They don't seem willing to take on patient who isnt cycling at their clinic. It seems like seeing the immunologist in syd is the only way to go in my case. The whole process is just difficult.

Also by any chance knowing any gyno can do endo scratch?

Bbhope- just thinking have you tried Dr Louise Farrell, she is a ob-gyno. She performed my cervical biopsy in September for precancerous cells. She's very good. Worth an ask she shares rooms with dr turner (his private rooms not hollywood)
