Default Pram 0+ to fit in hatchback boot?

Can anyone recommend a pram for newborn+ that will fit in a hatchback boot without defying the laws of physics? I measured my boot and I'd be looking at something around 60cm, not much wider.

I had a Peg Perego Plikomatic when I had a hatchback, it fitted in well. It was a VW Golf so I think it was a pretty standard size hatchback boot.

I've got a giant 3 wheel Steelcraft this time and it basically takes up the whole 4WD boot.

Your best thing is to take your car to a baby store and just try prams in the boot, people do it all the time.

I use to own a Daihatsu Charade and a regular run of the mill pram fit in it. I had to remove the parcel shelf though. As long as you don't get a 3 wheeler and the pram is not too bulky it should be fine!

My Steelcraft Phoenix fits great in all cars. Ive had it in little Kia Hatchbacks to 4wd's with no trouble. My little miss has been in it from about 2 wks old. It lays back completely as well.

Phil & Teds is a 3 wheeler but it would fit I think. We have a Kia Carnival and it has VERY limited bootspace. It fits fine with room left over. The wheels just pop on or off too if you need but I haven't had to.I also put it on the frontseat yesterdy as I had DS bike in the boot and it fitted perfect on the seat.

Carnivals boot space is bigger than a hatch though.
When I owned the Charade, the only thing that fit in the boot was the pram. I have seen the carnivals boot space and with a double pram in it, there is no way you would fit one of those in a hatch!

I would be annoyed if I had to take the wheels off evertime I had to get it back in the car though

I've just bough a Phoenix for #2. Fits in my Astra without problems and still leaves room for lots of other stuff.

The boot space is higher but only about 35-40cm deep so I have to stand it up,As i said I don't take the wheels off but it's just a quick click of one button and then you just push them back on.I did have twin side-by-side and no it doesn't fit in a carnival, that's why we got rid of it and bought the P&T
