    Very confusing ... we were told at orientation late last year that from 2014 prep was compulsory as it was the first formal year of learning under the new curriculum.

    You can do kindy also at a childcare centre, lots of them have the same government program.

    Wow I always thought prep was compulsory too! Qld gov kept that quiet and I'm on number 3 at prep this year.
    you learn something new everyday.
