I use the Planet Ark Aware sensitive powder. It has a pic of a baby sleeping in top of a load of white nappies. But I've been using a grey-water-safe eco washing liquid or powder for years now, even before bub. Used to have the washing water hosed out to the garden.

We use amolin. Has no nasties and has a really nice smell when the clothes come out. Sold at woolies and Coles.

I think we used one with a baby on it for a while then switched to Omo Sensitive. Fragranced detergents have more bad chemicals in them.

Definitely don't use fabric softener, it's full of nasties.
