    I don't know if you can see this but that black crap around where the straw goes in is evident even before I cut it open after I squeezed it out into the sink.

    The recall is due to spoilage bacteria : http://www.foodauthority.nsw.gov.au/.../#.UvgT5PmSyWE

    There was a recall a couple of years ago due to chemicals. I wonder if this has resurfaced and people are getting the 2 mixed up?

    Bit OT but it's ridiculous that the recall says " While testing to date does not show any evidence of a food safety issue..." - er, black crud in your drink is not a food safety issue?

    The food standards Facebook Page says it's due to a microbial spoilage. Hundreds of people have commented on their post saying they or their kids got sick after drinking them.

    What annoys me is that when I called they said they wouldn't recall them unless they heard from other people that they could be contaminated. Isn't one enough? FFS
