Default Where can I have a potentially dangerous product for testing??

I bought a pack of Prima Tropical poppers on special at Woolworths and it tasted really wrong not off, worse like a combination between plastic, chlorine and something chemically that I can't describe. I only had one sip but being 5 and a half months pregnant and knowing my 20 month old daughter drank a whole one before I realized. I called the Woolworths after hours line about it and they took my information ect. But I'm concerned about what my baby girl and I consumed because it tasted like chemicals and really wrong.. Does anyone know where or who I could take it to, to find out what exactly was in it? :/

Cut open the empty container - those popper juice boxes are notorious for going mouldy , hopefully if it is just mould it may just give you an upset stomach and not be poisonous but I would do as pp said and call the poison info

Yeah I just found out the boxes can look disgusting inside too, even when they are in date.

I have no idea what mould tastes like so maybe.

How did you find out? Did you cut one open and find it all mucky in there or did somebody tell you? Just curious. Scary I just blindly trusted that food and drink we buy is going to be safe. I'm really wondering about everything now.

Just wondering if maybe the odd taste was a symptom of your pregnancy? Just wondering... I remember some foods tasting metallic, odd, unusual for a while just after I fell pregnant.

    Here's some info - http://www.whattoexpect.com/pregnanc...lic-taste.aspx

No definitely not, it was my 12 year old daughter who brought it to me to ask if I thought it tasted weird. I've never tasted anything like it. Really yuck- how I imagine liquid plastic might taste like :/
