Should have told her to jam it. I just walked out though because I was so stunned by Her reaction

I know she's the only local family you have but she doesn't sound trustworthy to me. You seem to have a higher regard for her than she does of you. I still find her reaction really off. How she can smile and offer help then hiss at you that you should give your baby over to her as much as possible because you don't know how to look after her. I'd run a mile family or not. I just don't understand the nastiness at all. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life. Leaving your child with her after her saying those things is almost like agreeing with her that you don't know what you're doing and your baby is better off with her. Yuck. I'm glad your DH will be with you if you go over there again.

    Yea @ KaraB
I'm glad to. It sounds mean bi I'm happy for him to be the bad guy (so is he thankfully lol) and tell her no way. I'm just a bit of a wimp when it comes to family stuff. Glad I never left her with her except for the shop run though.
