Default Two seats in a Nissan xtrail

So bub number 2 is on its way (hopefully soon!!) and I need to get the capsule fitted.

I have DS seat which is. Safe and sound premier fitted in the left passenger side of the car and wondering if I should move it to the middle or keep it where it is?

What's the best positioning to fit both? I am not sure if I should out newborn on the LHS? Might be easier to get bub in and out as DS can climb in and out on his own?

    Any advice?

Thanks I thought about doing that but mum is here at the moment helping me out so if the seats are on the outside then she won't be able to fit in the car if we want to go out somewhere

Both on the outside usually works best, if you have them right next to each other then your older child will be able to reach bub and you won't be able to see if they are rear facing (risk of older child giving them things, choking hazards, just generally annoying them or waking them up etc)

I had bub on passenger side ad 3yo DD in the middle. She helped with replacing dummy and shh'ing when upset...on a long drive she was great to have there.
Since turning him around they are both on the outside
