Default had laproscopy and dye studies while pregnant HELP!

Hi everyone i had a laproscopy and dye studies 4 days ago i am 4 days late for my period today and did a pregnancy test which is positive i am in shock and wondering what these invasive tests have done to such a tiny life has anyone else been in this situation?
I plan on ringing my gynaecologist in the morning but just after some advice as i am beside myself with worry and to top it off i have been unable to conceive for 4 years

    Thankyou.

Don't they check for pregnancy first?

I had a hsg done and it was important I use contraception to ensure no chance of pregnancy.

I think I was also told to wait a month after to try also.

Hopefully your dr can help more

When I had my hsg they timed it for the first half of my cycle so there was no chance I could be pregnant when it was done. Go see your GP ASAP. Your not taking any meds that could cause a false positive HPT?

I'm pretty sure everything should be fine as the placenta hasn't been formed yet. Check with your gp but I'm pretty sure you'll find they will say the same thing.

I had a laparoscopy and endo removed and turns out I was pregnant! I was in shock and terrified; 2 pregnancy tests came back negative before the op! Basically I was advised by a number of specialists that implantation must have occurred late and been so firmly embedded that it survived all the surgery shenanigans. Essentially, they said the risks of having the surgery is that you could potentially miscarry.

I totally understand how you feel. I felt sick that it had happened. I'm now 23 weeks pregnant and all's going well so far.
