    Default Camping with no power

We are going camping at Easter off road with no power. We have some led lights but I want to buy a esky / fridge.
What's the best esky/fridge that would keep food cold for four days in qld weather.
Also some other tips to have off road!!
What about something to charge up phones etc?
It's our first trip away without power

We often go camping with no power. I think the ice box we got was a chilly bin?? Plus we got the reusable ice packs they sell. Plus I freeze about half of our water.

I have found the easiest thing to do is pre cook. So I will make spaghetti Bol or butter chicken then I just have to put it in a pot and reheat and make some rice/spaghetti to go with. Oh and I freeze the sauce then that acts as extra ice. We usually just do sandwiches for lunch with meat cheese etc. salad stuff like lettuce doesn't go in eskers very well.

For phones, we don't usually have reception so just turn them off but we also have car chargers.

We take a battery powered radio and plenty of batteries.

Think about what you'll do for a toilet.

We love camping and used to always go unpowered but we are yet to since DS was born.

    Good luck
