Munchkin, she is beautiful. Well done!! (But I don't get the rainbow reference?). Lovely name. Are you still in hospital?
Are you Italian? My Dad's side is Italian...from the Islands (Lipari, Stromboli). As a result, my son has the most amazing long eyelashes!!
    Sending you much love.

Channy, that's lovely that your Mum spoils Lincoln. So she should, he is very handsome and deserving!!
My parents work full-time (well, in excess of full-time), and so rarely see my kids. They live 10 minutes away, but work is a greater priority for them. It really hurts. My husband's mother lives in QLD and is cognitively-challenged from alcohol, and his father died before we met.
But luckily, MY Grandma (their Great-Grandma) loves them both. Even though she lives in QLD too, I take them to visit as often as I can, and she dotes on them. She is only 81, and a very active 81. She dotes on me too!!

J37 the rainbow reference refers to those that have previously miscarried or lost their baby at birth and have been blessed with a baby again. A blessing after a hard time, a rainbow after a storm.

J that's a shame that your parents don't get to see ur kids much ur grandma is doing amazing to be 81! I still have my great grandfather but he isn't very with it, he likes Lincoln tho.

I looked rainbow baby up on urban dictionary and got this:

A "rainbow baby" is a baby that is born following a miscarriage or still birth

OK...I've never heard that term before; it is lovely.
(I am stupid...I just assumed "rainbow baby" meant a baby from a lesbian couple, and I didn't think Munchkin was...so, got confused. As I said, I am stupid!!).
