My plans might have been thwarted!

I'm really really hoping I can skip induction, had a few large red/pink gooey bloody shows thismorning and horrible cramps all night (tried to ignore them not to get my hopes up!), currently on my fit ball. The pressure and pain in my cervix and rectal area is just OMG.

Sounds good pony! I felt much the same. I had back ache too though as bub was posterior. I felt unbelievable pressure like everything was ready to fall out of me on the floor. I remember complaining about the pressure throughout my whole labor lol. Good luck!!!

Come to think of it, I had that whole "my butt is going to explode" (during contractions) with my posterior labour too - might be why the labour is taking a while to establish.

Has bubs position or your cervix been checked in recent days pony?

Not since Thursday last week, bubs is head down but it's spine is on the right side of my tummy, so it's not completely posterior but turned?

They can turn during labour too which is nice - DD turned just in time to push. They had me lie on my left side to do it - I don't know if that theory always works, but it did that time.

Glad bubs isn't posterior - either way (whether naturally or induced), bubs will be here tomorrow!

It would be a nice surprise though if your cervix has been dilating somewhat - I wonder if it is a little dilated tonight if they will just break your waters...
